Application for Associate Membership

This page is designed to begin the application process for acceptance into the Guild of Master Bomb Technicians as an Associate Member. Associate Membership is intended for individuals engaged in, supporting, or studying bomb‑disposal or related disciplines who do not meet CMBT requirements.

Please email membership@igmbt.org to express your interest in joining the guild as an Associate Member, and provide us with responses to the following questions:

  • Do you have at least 1 year employment, or active research in an EOD-related field, or enrolment in a recognized engineering, or security-studies program?
  • Do you have sponsorship by at least one voting member of the Guild? If so, by whom?

Once submitted, your responses will be reviewed and you may be asked to provide verification of credentials and/or attestation of bomb disposal-related responsibilities, and you will be asked to sign a pledge to adhere to the Guild’s Code-of-Ethics. Please remember that membership is not automatic, and failure to provide required documents will result in rejection of your application.
