Application for Associate Membership – International Guild of Master Bomb Technicians

General Instructions

This page is designed to begin the application process for acceptance into the Guild of Master Bomb Technicians as an Associate Member. Associate Membership is intended for individuals engaged in, supporting, or studying bomb‑disposal or related disciplines who do not meet CMBT requirements.

Once submitted, your application will be reviewed and you will be asked to submit verification of credentials and/or attestation of bomb disposal-related responsibilities, and you will also be asked to sign a pledge to adhere to the Guild’s Code-of-Ethics. Please remember that membership is not automatic, and failure to provide required documents will result in rejection of your application.

Associate Qualification Status	Are you a professional or researcher who supports bomb-disposal work?
Experience	Do you have at least 1 year employment or active research in an EOD-related field, or are you enrolled in a recognized forensic science, engineering, or security-studies program?
Sponsorship	Do you have sponsorship by at least one voting IGMBT member?
Guild Ethics and Standards	Are you willing to abide by the Guild's Code-of-Ethics and uphold Guild Standards?
